Message	All the power wiring for the fan is oem Volvo. It's made to run daily. And honestly it has been doing that during the life of the Volvo it came out of. The wires that trigger the fan to come on that are going back to the stock ecu are just ground triggers, so there is no power there and they are jsut sending a signal to the turn the relay on. I also read about the voltage spikes, thats why I was surprised I hadn't seen anything yet as well.
